Julian Opie

I began by looking at the work of Julian Opie and his block colour line illustrations, although he uses his technique solely on portraits, the style works rather well with other subject matter too; Architecture being a great example.

Photoshop was used to make all of the designs presented, with the pen tool in several sizes, to achieve an outlined appearance.

for some of my pieces I also used the paint bucket tool to colour certain areas in different colours giving them the stylised look that Julian Opie is so well known for.
