David Carson

Working in the style of David Carson, I found rather difficult as his work is designed for a specific demographic, that being those that like the grunge; early 90s appearance, something that doesn't appeal to me. Never the less I do like the imagery he uses in his work, the rough look of the pictures is really cool as well as the distorted text that surrounds them.

I used a mixture of illustrator and photoshop to produce my pieces in David Carson's style. cutting out and pasting over a textured background, with areas of selective colour in either purple or orange, I added text over top.
